The winners of this year's Agri Magic Smart Farming award at the South Island Agricultural Fieldays was virtual fencing technology, Halter. Steve Crowhurst, business development manager caught up with Sarah to explain how much time it is saving dairy farmers in shifting fences.
“Within two weeks of having the system on the farm essentially all your fencing that you have to put up & temporary fencing has gone and all the shifting to and from the shed in between breaks is gone. So it reduces workload depending on the season between one and four hours a day and that's significant for a lot of farmers. “
